What to do with leftovers

I had some pieces of fabric left over from making the jewellery swap last month for Unlimited Textiles. I was just about to put them in my hoard to save them for that day 'when I know they will come in useful' when I thought why not turn them into brooches. So here is the result. The fan shaped one just had to have a tassel added on to it.

When I was photographing them for my blog you can see that Buddy just had to have a look. I could almost hear him thinking "what has she been making now?" As soon as he realised it wasn't food he quickly lost interest.

Lovely 'left overs' and such a good idea not to waste them. Buddy is obviously a connoisseur and didn't use them as play things!

Thank you for your very nice comment on my blog. My Bengal likes to do the same thing when I'm photographing my work. "What mom, you don't want me in the pic too?" :)

Hi Jann
Thanks for your comment on my blog. You are a 'no-reply' blogger so I can't reply directly. You can add your e mail address to your profile if you want to get direct replies.
Anyway its nice to see you are a fairly new blogger and I think you must live in the North West?
I like your bits and your Buddy!
